Scripting

We aren't including any conversations in our opening scene, so the only speech we have is the little girl whispering 'If you go down to the woods today you're in for a big surprise' at the end. We decided it would be best if she whispered it because it sounds creepy and eerie and therefore would frighten people.

There is also continuous creepy music playing throughout the scene. This music was created by a friend called Mateusz Tuora. He is studying Musical Technology at university and offered to help us create an eerie sound track, so we sent him a brief describing what we wanted and he sent us the clip so we could encorporate it within our film. After listening to the clip we decided we thought he had done a great job and that we would definitely use it.

This music plan was very useful when creating the music for our video as we were unable to send our clip out of school, we used milliseconds when recording the times of each individual clip, by doing this we were able to produce an accurate sound clip that would go well with the video clips, for example there are only fuzzy noises when you see the fuzzy clip on the screen.
